Opponents start #FalaSprzeciwu as Polish Government threaten abortion law during COVID-19 outbreak

Members of the Polish Parliament tries to threaten abortion law during the Coronavirus outbreak. It means no strikes for the opponents. However, they found a way to protest.

We are all currently struggling with the COVID-19 pandemic situation. That is why, now, it is the most important to work collaboratively to fight the virus. However, some countries use this particular period of time to threatens law. In Poland, the Polish government decided to threaten abortion law during the Coronavirus outbreak. Unfortunately, doing so now means that Poles will not be able to organise strikes to protest. Members of the Polish Parliament believe that abortion is a way of crime that should be banned in the country.

Many members of the public decided to do an online strike called #FalaSprzeciwu. One of the participants, Dominika Gałka, says it is a woman's choice whether to have a baby or not. "They (MPs) will not raise our children. It is our body and it is our choice".
