Halvor Egner Granerud comments on his jumps in Zakopane

It was a bitter-sweet weekend in Zakopane for Norwegian team. Halvor Egner Granerud, Thomas Aasen Markeng, Marius Lindvik and Johann Andre Forfang finished the team competition on the podium with 931.2 points. Better team were only Poland (with 951.1 points) and Japan (with 961.9 points). Johann Andre Forfang was the best Norwegian in the individual competition (10th place with 228.8 points).

Halvor Egner Granarud said, he did not know what happened, as his jumps were really good during the summer season. "I have been jumping quite good in the period between Courchevel and Zakopane so for me personaly it was a disappointing weekend.", Granerud admitted.

However, the 23-year-old ski jumper believes, we will see more Norwegian podiums during the winter season. "It is always good to be on the podium. Last week Robert finished on the podium. It is quite likely that we will be on the podium often".

Next stop on the FIS Grand Prix calendar is Hakuba HS131. Who will finish at the podium there? We will see in August 23rd and 24th.
